Hello photostudio!

It's back to the studios again after I got my ass back in Singapore.
Not cool.

But I'm so loving the photos I've got this time, thanks to Haiwei from Haiwei Photography.
He even went scouting around 7-eleven for the outdated copy of Stuff magazine with my profile on it. How nice?

This was the signature pose that he requested for ahah.

I was annoyed before the shoot because the previous batch of shooters overrun their timing, which means they ate into ours. And mind them, I'm paid by the time. Them overrunning mean I've to start late and end late. Isn't it the responsibility of the studio to keep track of time?
That got my eyeballs rolling pfft.

Earlier this Tuesday I did a TV promo trailer for "Good Morning Singapore!" or more commonly known as "早安您好!" with le BF!!
It's a trailer to inform TV audiences about the time change in their program from 7am to 7.30am.
I was a jogger in the trailer (sadly le bf did not take any photos of me) and he appeared on set as the PMEB cast.

The shoot was smooth and easy as compared to the previous corporate shoot I did for SAFRA.
BUT both were as fun, just different kinda fun.
We woke up at about 6am for the shoot and that night I slept from 9pm all the way till 1pm the next afternoon!

I'll be heading down to the Amici D&D event tomorrow, not exactly sure what it's about but I'll find out, seeya!

Here comes Aussie post

We arrived at Gold Coast, Queensland on Scoot's inaugural flight with Barberella and Pornsak Sukumvit from The Noose. And we were welcomed by the Water Salute Ceremony whereby Barry the plane scoot under plumes of water expelled by lined up fire-fighting vehicles. That was to mark Scoot's first flight to the Gold Coast Airport and it was a really fresh experience. When we touched down lots and lots of media were there, noting and photographing, noting and photagraphing.

We checked in at our apartment and were greeted with this splendid view. I almost couldn't believe my eyes and what I've got in return for the price we paid.

On the second night, we went for a night walk down to Surfer's Paradise Beach. It was freezing winter. I brought 4 sets of clothes for 4 separate days, but I layered ALL of them over each other on day2. That exhausted almost all the clothes I brought, which also means I have to shop! Yay! So earlier that day we went to Harbourtown where all the factory outlets are localized at, none of us went back empty handed. Google says it is a must-go, I feel it is slightly overrated.

On day3 we went on a road trip to Brisbane, drove for what seemed like forever, and arrived at Brisbane finally after forever-hour. Finally arrived at the correct Queen Street after one or two Queen Streets.
Brisbane was like our Marina Bay Sands, with street performers. Did some shopping and had our steak there. Did I forget to mention that Allison and Junkai had steak almost everyday?

On day 4 we drove up north to Currumbin, to see polar bears. Did I say polar? Koala i mean.
The sky looked lovely every single day. The photo says it, and bear in mind there is no filter to this photo.

We arrived at the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. That's Junkai, Allison and Jolene with our car, Victoria. They were my pals for this trip, cool stuffs here.

Jolene and I having fun with the koala ears.

Koalas are crazily adorable creatures. They don't need to drink, nor do they have a tail. Now you know...

That's us hopping onto the tram, or 'train' as my friends called it. haha.

Look who we met? Hedwig!
It took leave from Hogwarts, which is also secretly my school. Don't worry, it wouldn't tell Dumbledore.

We went into the Kangaroos' enclosure. They share it with the Emus but who cares about the Emus, I heard they poke people's heads with their beak, or mouth, or beak.

Kangaroo feeding was fun. It felt like Wangwang or Cuecue eating from my palm. Nothing special except that they're kangaroos. My dogs could hop too.

Ally was busy making friends.

Had to snap the cute angmoh toddlers playing with young kangaroos.

This handsome dude here, he asked for my number.
Haha kidding but he was flirting with my camera.

And the much awaited photo session with PJ the koala! We paid a preposterous amount for those photos we have with it. But looking at this, just looking at this.... how can you not want to be in my place? You're right, as seen here we're already in love thanks.

This lorikeet had the audacity to mess with my hair! How can it be so stupid, the yummy thing is just right in front of me, between my hands and it made a bad landing. Learn from your friend, buddy.

Everyone around us had platefuls of lorikeets, but 2's about the most we had. That's fine by me because a flock scares hell out of me although they make pretty pictures.

On day 5 we drove to a mall in Palm Beach and did our last minute shopping. To my horror most of the shops there were either closed or closing at around 4pm? We decided to make our own dinner so we went to get groceries.
Back in our apartment I set up the ambience in our balcony. Looks pretty yes?
Hahaha But it was freezing!!!

Ally cooked the salmon, Jolene the vege, Junkai the steak and me the eggy. Everything tasted like mixed herbs that night, because we bought only one seasoning lol.

Really hate to say goodbye to Aussie. The worst part of our departure was the fact that our 8hour flight got delayed by 6hours due to engineering faults. Which made the 14 hours dreadful and tormenting.
Where is my travel voucher, dear Scoot?

I was really glad when Ad gave me a bundle of letters at the airport before I left Singapore. It looked familiar. I had a bundle too when I was on an overseas CIP trip to Chiang Rai, so these became my daily feed in Aussie every morning. *Starstruck*
Ending off the post with my favourite part of his letters where he coincidentally punched a hole right smack onto the smiley he drew. That's a bingo my dear.

My free flight to Australia

In this post I'm sharing on "How to get perks as cool as free flights to Gold Coast, Sydney, Bangkok or Tianjin"

And here goes:
1. Sit for a module in NUS under CNM (FASS) named NM3215 Advertising Strategies.
2. Pick the correct brand.
3. Do a mad awesome video for them.
4. Show it to them.
5. Wait.

Step 4 could be replaced by: Invite them over for your final pitch.
Which in our case, we didn't and waited.
Here's our video by the way. We could choose a free flight to any destinations and of course we chose Gold Coast, Queensland!

Enjoy the video! I'll post my Scoot and Aussie experience soon!

PC Show 2012

Worked for PC Show before Beerfest with Rebecca and Catherine. They are v fun to work with, joking about the way we hold the boards being like holding photos of the deceased. We walked around to look for Si Ting, Faith and Cherie for photos and I remembered the last IT Show Rebecca and I were there working in front of Toshiba (her under Intel and me under Toshiba).

Us at the Canon booth

And the June2012 edition of Stuff Gadget Magazine. Really privileged to be featured there as it's the world's best-selling gadget magazine. I 'koped' one of these from Lawrence.

I was featuring the Canon COOLPIX P510 but ask me nothing about it. I believe google is your best bet.
I'll be SCOOTing to Gold Coast tonight! I'm sure I'll have fun but at the same time I'll miss the boy and the dogs.
See you'al!

Virgin post again!

Hi hi hi hi hi.
I'm into the mood of blogging again so I'm back to blogger (and thus the post title)!
My virgin post shall be on........

Beerfest!

First photo will be credited to MAX from Concept 35mm

I love Concept 35mm 'cos their photos are great. I was already maxed out when they asked for a picture and I didn't have to do much for the photo to turn out so well. Love the lighting all.

iPhone is the next better option when we're not talking about skilled photography. Due to it's poor resolution you can't see my giant pimple here ha ha. Of course there's a photo on my facebook profile taken with iPhone close-up that my pimple is very- very- visible but there is a reason why it is not here.

aD's working for Taiwan beer while I'm under APB.
I LOVE APB!!
Apart from extending my work hour twice ($$$) they have our welfare so much taken care of! When Zeta saw us crowding around the bar for food she decided to buy food for all of us even though on the 4th day our intended working hour was short.
The incentives working for them were really attractive as well- which explains why all of us were pushing our target.

This photo was taken on the first day with the Temasekians! Ah I just realised I forgot to snap another one with Leon, Amanda, Chin-I and gang on the 4th day. :(
I miss staying in Temasek Hall but my dogs are unhappy I'm not home most of the time, sigh.

How's my virgin post?
I'm kinda rushing to catch my bus so the first will be short and (hopefully) sweet.

I shall end it with a group picture of the APB boys and belles...

Love and be beautiful!
